Kitten season has brought a lot of cats to Happy Strays this year. In July, we fixed 30 kittens! In order to help cover these costs, Moo Moo Mia kindly hosted a fundraiser with us! On August 17th & 18th, the Moo Moo Mia in Montrose (2323 Honolulu Ave 91020), and Monrovia (415 S. Myrtle Ave Unit A 91016) had fundraiser boxes out for receipts during their hours of 12pm-10pm. Participating purchases were totaled at the end of the fundraiser with 20% being donated to Happy Strays! We received lots of support and $160 from Moo Moo Mia, as well as direct donations from kind people who were unable to make it during store hours.

Established in 2004 by Jan Magnuson, Happy Strays Rescue has served the San Gabriel and San Fernando Valley communities for over a two decades. We are a nonprofit rescue that cares for stray & abandoned cats as well as orphaned kittens found in our local neighborhoods. All of our wonderful rescues are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and receive medical attention prior to our search for loving & permanent homes.
