Happy Strays Rescue
Happy Strays Rescue is a not for profit rescue organization that cares for stray, abandoned and orphaned cats and kittens. All of our cats are attended to medically; each is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and tested for FeLv/FIV. We then begin the search for loving and permanent homes.

Panda is a cute black and white kitten who is about four months old. She was hand-raised as a baby and is such a delight! She'd make a great pet for the purrfect household.

ABOUT OUR CATS:
Our "rescues" are often just babies who require bottlefeeding and hand rearing, kittens or cats found in local neighborhoods or shelters, or older cats relenquished by their owners to us or to area shelters. Our cats are cared for in a network of wonderful foster homes while they patiently wait for adoption.

OUR MISSION:
Happy Strays Rescue was formed to “make a difference” to the cats and kittens who need us most, the homeless and tossed aside cats in our city. All donations received go directly toward the care of the cats and kittens in our care waiting for adoption, with a special emphasis on spay/ neuter.
We dream of the day when there will be no more homeless pets in the Los Angeles Area and we hope we can educate and inform people about spay/neuter programs in their area to meet that goal.

September is Adopt a Black Kitten Month
We have many sweet kittens in need up homes this summer! Please let your friends, family and collegues know about our weekly Saturday adoptions at Petco. Many of our fosters are raised in homes with dogs and are "four-legged friend" friendly!
Happy Strays is "specializing" in black kittens as dozens of them have found their way to our rescue in recent months. Are you feeling lucky? Adopt a black kitten and change its luck forever!

SUMMER SPECIAL REQUESTS:
FOSTER HOMES FOR KITTENS!
This is "kitten season" and we receive numerous requests to take 'found' kittens in the local area. We are in dire need of temporary foster homes for kittens this summer.
Fostering only requires a bath/spare room or large pet crate to house the little ones. Add some love and attention to the mix, and these orphans are sociable and adoptable kittens in the making!
If you would like to foster any of our kittens (5 weeks and older) until they are adopted, please contact us as soon as possible. With your help, we can find homes for more of these furry babies! Our rescue will assist with kitten food and spay/neuter expenses. If you live in the Pasadena area and would like to volunteer, please contact us.
URGENT FINANCIAL NEED:
With kitten season upon us, our finances are draining quickly. Please partner with us! Donations are needed for our kitten spay/neuter fund all summer long.
